Reassured by PD saying u r in, b assured. Is this almost sure sign?

I would have said 50:50 but if he was that emphatic, maybe the odds of matching is higher than not.
PDs lie a lot, don't let that statement influence your performance at other interviews or RoL but be optimistic.

well, program directors usually dont lie, some ppl think pd lie, but that is not true, the fact that they dont match in that programs for many reasons, one of them is that although they are ranked high, but they were unlucky enough to get in, if a program director says they will rank you high , it means they will, but some programs match with their top applicants, some of them go farther.

as a general rule, AMG usually ranked 1st, then IMG, getting in after being raked high still up to chances.
