mentor is PT, PhD - down21

Hi, i am involved in research, doing IRB work and hoping to do poster too but my mentor is not MD, she is physical therapist and Phd. She is very happy with me and willing to write a good LOR for 2016 match. i am so worried that will her lor count or program director only want MD?

Unfortunately PD only will think highly of a US physician letter. It was brought up to me very bluntly in one IV I had.
