Abdominal pain ccs cases where the patient should be kept in NPO , I was wondering if we have to cancel the oral medications that he was already taking. ( I mean its already in the list with the presentation)

Can anyone kindly help me to clear my confusion.

Keep patient NPO.
You can switch to IV form if absolutely needed otherwise can it can wait.
