Today is wednesday! So i got my result: 257, I'm really happy, not only for the score, but also because i can finally relax without that constant stress of expecting the results!
I got a 251 on step 1 on May this year so I was really on track to take the CK
Prep time: 5 months
These were my study materials:
-Master the boards step 2 ck (4 times)
--Master the boards step 3 (once, didn't read the IM section, I wrote the "new" info on MTB2ck)
-Step 2 Secrets (not worth it)
-Step up to USMLE Step 2 Ck (i just read several topics, not the whole book)
-UW (2.5 times)
-Kaplan Self assessments 2014 1 & 2 (did them offline just to do more questions)
-CMS form 4 offline (IM, Ob/Gyn, Neuro, Peds, Psych, Surgery)
-NBME 4 (5 weeks before exam: 267)
-UWSA (1 week before exam: 260)
-Used Medbullets for certain topics
-3 simulated exams with the UW q's
What would I change if I had to study again for 2ck?: Instead of doing the Kaplan SA's and CMS's, I would do more NBME's. The 3 of them help you find weak your topics, but the NBME's has the advantage of giving you an aprox. score and that score reassures you that you are on the right track.
