i had a step 1 score of 259 but my step score came down to 231, i passed step 2 cs 1st attempt and hoping to match to internal medicine.I am a non-US IMG but dont need visa. what should i do?

You need to be prepared for the questions on decrease of Step 2 CK score. Also, try to get continuous hands-on clinical experience to make your CV better which can help the application.
