I don't have theoretical knowledge as I haven't started preparing for step 3, But I have been going to ob clinic in county hospital and Gon-Cla is routinely done as part of prenatal testing.

I don't think what is being done is always the correct thing...like all pts who come with Acute exacerbation of COPD get sputum gram stain and culture when it is not needed if pt responds to empiric therapy................Physicians here is US walk a fine line and sometimes do what they think is best .......but that is not necessarily the best thing according to book or guide lines....
