A 51y/o F with a history of tobacco abuse has a recent episode of hemoptysis. Although she felt warm several days ago, she didn't take her temperature. She described her sputum mucopurulent and streaked with blood. CXR reveals a 2.5 cm non calcified density in the region of the right middle lobe. After an extensive work up. it is determined that a lobectomy is the optimal treatment. PFT reveals (FEV1) 50% predicted, FVC % predicted, FEV1/FVC 60% . How you interpret it ?
