Hi everyone. I applied last year and unfortunately did not match into a residency position. I may be applying this year (still thinking about it). The letters I would be using would be the same ones from last year. Is that a bad thing or would it be more beneficial to get my letter writers to update the date on new letters? In other words, the letters are a year old. What do you guys think. Thanks so much for all your help.

It will be useful if the letter writer to upload a new LOR with recent date.

You can use the LORs which you have in your previous application there is no need to ask Letter writer to provide the new LORs. But if the LORs are more 1 years old then it will be better to get a new LOR with recent date.
