It is EBV indeed. I just looked up this info in Robbins Pathologic basis of disease 7th edition, page 688.
EBV is associated with H. lymphoma, especially with mixed cellularity, Lymphocyte rich and lymphocyte depletion types.
There is no mention of HIV association with H. lymphoma.
