12. can anyone discuss this one please. this pt is on estrogen hrt, so has optimal estrogen.
But unable to convert adsrenal androgens due to absent ovaries(aromatase convert androgens to estrogen), so shouldnt there be increased androgens????

13. the neonate is def. in vit.K MC in newborn .

I know I'm 11 years late and hope you are already done residency by now but...
-Laparotomy (always in emergent situations)
-Decrease androgen is correct because estrogen increase binding proteins
-vitamin k is needed for II, VII, IX, X, protein c and s so a deficiency causes increase PT and PTT, this is common in newborns because they lack the bacteria that produces it and that is why we give IM vitamin k
-Transudate has protein 60, and leukocytes
