Tardive Dyskinesia 4mths - 4 yrs

Akathisia - feeling of restlessness, pacing around, alternately standing and sitting,
Acute dystonia muscle spasms or stiffness (torticollis, trismus), tongue protrusion or
twisting, opisthotonus, and oculogyric crisis
Parkinsonism cogwheel rigidity, masked facies, bradykinesia
Tardive Dyskinesia involuntary perioral movements, choreoathetoid movements of head,
limbs, and trunk.
NMS- u will be experts, fever must



Akathisia - Beta-blockers provide relief.
Acute dystonia - Diphenhydramine(antihistamine) or benztropine.
Parkinsonism - Benztropine(anticholinergic)
Tardive Dyskinesia Clozapine
NMS Dantrolene sodium
