so if u don"t have 1000 u dont have a Dx yet,but u suspect becouse Gastrin i high
so u need to confirm u suspetios. if serum gastrin level do not give u a level of 1000 or more but u beleve is Gastrinoma what wiil help u in these momentto make a DX of Gastrinoma.

when fasting gastrin levels are less than 1000 pg/ml and you suspect gastrinoma confirm with
6.Secretin stimulation test iv secretin produces inc in gastrin over 200 within 2 to 30 min.

yes becouse Secretin stimulate Gastrin production JUST from Gastrinoma cells but NOT from normal G cells.

Serum chromogranin A is a general marker for neuroendocrin Tu but is less spesific than Gastrin.U can use thise marker for CONFORMATORY test ,but can not be use if Gastric acid is high

So what test will you use if you still suspect gastrinoma in high gasrtic acid and negative secretin test then?
