I feel sorry for you. But this is typical Thai behaviour. But I dont understand this though. If she is a doctor, why cant she do stuff on her own? Why do you need to answer the interview questions for her? Has she not have her own mind?

œIt will provide more security and stability to those who have health insurance.
It will provide insurance to those who don™t. And it will lower the cost of health care for our families, our businesses, and our government."
“ PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA

If You Have Health Insurance, the President's Plan:

¢ Ends discrimination against people with pre-existing conditions.
¢ Limits premium discrimination based on gender and age.
¢ Prevents insurance companies from dropping coverage when people are sick and need it most.
¢ Caps out-of-pocket expenses so people don™t go broke when they get sick.
¢ Eliminates extra charges for preventive care like mammograms, flu shots and diabetes tests to improve health and save money.
¢ Protects Medicare for seniors.
¢ Eliminates the œdonut-hole gap in coverage for prescription drugs.

If You Don™t Have Insurance, the President's Plan:

¢ Creates a new insurance marketplace ” the Exchange ” that allows people without insurance and small businesses to compare plans and buy insurance at competitive prices.
¢ Provides new tax credits to help people buy insurance.
¢ Provides small businesses tax credits and affordable options for covering employees.
¢ Offers a public health insurance option to provide the uninsured and those who can™t find affordable coverage with a real choice.
¢ Immediately offers new, low-cost coverage through a national œhigh risk pool to protect people with preexisting conditions from financial ruin until the new Exchange is created.

For All Americans, the President's Plan:
¢ Won™t add a dime to the deficit and is paid for upfront.
¢ Requires additional cuts if savings are not realized.
¢ Implements a number of delivery system reforms that begin to rein in health care costs and align incentives for hospitals, physicians, and others to improve quality.
¢ Creates an independent commission of doctors and medical experts to identify waste, fraud and abuse in the health care system.
¢ Orders immediate medical malpractice reform projects that could help doctors focus on putting their patients first, not on practicing defensive medicine.
¢ Requires large employers to cover their employees and individuals who can afford it to buy insurance so everyone shares in the responsibility of reform.

A look at key points in Obama's health care speech:

1. Individuals would be required to carry basic health insurance. Those who can't afford it would get a hardship waiver.
2. Businesses would be required to offer their workers health care or chip in to help cover the cost. Ninety-five percent of small businesses would be exempt because of their size and narrow profit margin.
3. Medical malpractice reform is not a "silver bullet," but practicing "defensive medicine" can lead to unnecessary costs; demonstration projects will be reviewed to see what changes to medical malpractice insurance would work best.
4. It would be against the law for insurance companies to deny coverage because of a pre-existing condition.
5. Promised to protect Medicare and reassured the elderly that Medicare funds would not be used to overhaul health care.
6. A public option, or alternative to private insurance, needs to be available to the uninsured to "keep insurance companies honest."
7. The public option would not be subsidized by taxpayers, but would be self-sufficient and rely on the premiums it collects; the Congressional Budget Office estimates that fewer than 5 percent of Americans would sign up.

For a good IV

You should know the program/PD's research/his or her name/mission/history/community, etc;

You should know yourself: your country/your medical education/your rotation during your clerkship/your personality/your habby/your research/case you treated/your CV/statement/your friends and family/your USMLE scores-failure, etc;

You should know medicare: your country/US/delivery of healthcare/privilege/concept of health/problems faced/problems faced in the specialty, etc

You should know a good case in each specialty, know H1N1 and prevension.

Preparation IV Q/A is a very tough task for everyone. In this forum, more than 10% posts related to Q/A.

She has no feeling about the issue. I know how to do, because I used to be an interviewer in my home country.

Guys, when you practice an IV, please design/use evaluation form. That will help you and increase your IV quality. Just a suggestion.

write a book for IMGs, get money, go to psychologist.
Betrayal is a hard thing to survive. In things that happen between two lovers both are responsible. Only you and she know what really happened. I don't think that would be fair to judge you or her. the good thing is that live goes on. And you'll be happy again maybe even with the same woman, who knows.
Good luck to you, be strong, find a friend to talk to. Don't waste your talents.
