my f'd interviewed there last week and was offered prematch within a day.

scores are in 90's ..MBBS/MPH/ research in US/US lor's/1 month externship/ 2 months observership/need visa. hope this helps.

i don't think they give prematches with MD and DM and so on. They really see good candidates, really with good LOrs. I know like 5 of my friends who were offered prematch and they don't have any MD or DM or research with publications. They look for enthusiastic people.

the intv is conducted by 3 persons-
prog dir, asst prog director and one resident. all general qusetions n no medical ques. everone is nice n friendly.

any research q's asked...like wat interest do you hav,did you do any research stuff,..blah blah? wat i gather is that you did fine right . ...this is academic setting with COMLETE focus on whole picture rather than one aspect of CV. hope you get it here as its good place to do fellowship. and buffalo is home to Buffalo Bills & i hav seen one match in freezing cold but they won so it was worth the $75..if i can recall correctly. |
