karamihan sa programs J1 & HB1 or J1 only...

J1 kasi after training papauwiin ka sa bansa if saan ka galing..and 2-5 years pa ata before ka makabalik uli sa USA unless apply ka ng waiver para maging H1B then they'll send you sa underserved area kasamo mo mga bear, salmon, native american lol..

H1B mas okay kasi after few years you can apply as permanent visa then you can practice here for good...

Good/very good/excellent programs karamihan sa kanila ay J1 lang...and lahat ng IMG dyan punta so marami kang competition

Now advantage ng GC is para kang blue eagle and difference are : you can't vote, once ma felon ka they'll kick you out sa bansa, no chance na maging president ng USA but Im not sure if may chance na maging VPres..lol

Now yung talagang related sa Residency...tamad yong ibang program to procees ang papers mo..very tedious...ang daming dadaanan and they asked (INS) to many requirements from the hospital..everytime they renew the visa, kailangan ng hospital na lahat ng resident nila is licensed, enough money to support financially the residents just incase may mangyari sa resident...so ang PD they rather get someone na they dont have to worry every year...

You can noticed also sa forum na mga first group of people na may invitations are those with 99/99 or 90's/90's but CG... by ration : invite to number of programs...mas advantage yong GC even though yung grade nila di masyado mataas

PD send invites as follows : 1. 99/99,GC 2.a.99/99,needs visa, 2.b. 90's/90's, GC 3. high 80's/high 80's, GC 4. 90's/90's, needs visa..

hi im a BSN RN too with greencard but still the competition is so great bec. the PD likes to know if you have a handson experience of their health system so for those hindi pa na match kahit anong work nila dito sa USA basta sa hospital lang i think it will help

ah ganon ba...maraming salamat sayo bill n filipino...
kc bago ako d2 ngayon kaya lang d tulad nyo nurs medtech sa atin gusto ko ngan apply din hospital even medtech pero dont know pamo pag start d naman kc lic d2 as medtech...ano magandang suggestion nyo na matagal na d2? kc hirap pala buhay d2...naghihintay na lang ako resulta ng step2 pero dpa apply ng residency kc wala pa CS ko...sana may umurong sa aplicant...kc next pa january...late na ba for 2007?...n gusto ko din magtrabaho kahit ano na nga eh habang nagrerevw ng CS...

Studymle, medtech din ako. still to take AMT this month pra makatrabaho as RMT.
nasa Texas din ako, 5 hrs from u. Plano ko rin magPatho for 2008 match.
Phlebotomist sana kya lang nagfulltime study muna ko.
I heard Baylor College of Medicine-Hosp offers free Externship, but they say its quite difficult
for IMGs to be accepted... im not sure... but planning to apply next year, khit 2-3 months lng para makakuha ng LOR.
