GL mohamad ,u working hard and exam is near!

i already started with patho:

Thyroid Cancers=

1.Papillary Ca=most common excellent prognosis,ground glass nuclei,psommoma bodies.
2.Follicular Ca=good prognosis,uniform follicles.
3.Medullary Ca=from parafollicular C cells,produce calcitonin,(MEN II and III)
4.Anaplastic Ca=older pts,very poor prognosis
5.Lymphoma=associated with Hashimoto thyroiditis

ANS=Albright hereditary Dystrophy:

The disorder is characterized by a lack of renal responsiveness to parathyroid hormone, resulting in low serum calcium, high serum phosphate, and appropriately high serum parathyroid hormone. Patients with Albright hereditary osteodystrophy have short stature, characteristically shortened fourth and fifth metacarpals, and rounded faces.

Bromocriptine cause shrinkage.

keloids-excessive collagen formation
desmoids-excessive fibroblast formation
metalloproteinases(Zn dependent}help in degradation of grannulation tissue and replacement by scar.
i hope i am not disturbing ur flow.

excess collagen is mainly type III in keloid.
