Thank you for submitting your application to The Nationwide Children's Hospital/Ohio State University Pediatric Residency Program.
We do have a policy that states if you are an international graduate, you must complete one full year of post-graduate training in an accredited clinical internship in the United States or Canada before being considered for a PL-1 position. The clinical internship must be completed in either straight pediatrics or the combined IM/Peds program.
In reviewing your application, this requirement has not yet been met so we are unable to further review your application at this time. Once this requirement has been met, please feel free to submit your application once again to the program.
Sincerely,
John Mahan, M.D., Program Director

This message is being sent on behalf of Dr. Winston Y. Shih, Program Director
for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Danbury Hospital.

Thank you for your interest in the Internal Medicine Residency Program here at
Danbury Hospital. Your application to our program has been downloaded and
carefully reviewed by our Residency Review Committee. Unfortunately, you have
not been selected to interview. We have already had to turn down a large
number of highly qualified applicants this year due to the record number of
applications we are receiving.

We wish you the best of luck in finding a program that meets your needs.

Sincerely,
Winston Y. Shih, M.D.
