the kaplan they mean here is kaplan higher education inst.that has its headquarter here in chicago,not the kaplan that's affiliated to usmle

Sorry Doctore1111- Kaplan is ONE BIG MONOPOLY ($1BILLION per year in sales). This is the SAME spider with many legs, including LAW, MEDICINE, SAT, MED ASST etc. see that article and google Kaplan ("corporate information") for more details
