Need advice about step 3 - suldil

Hi
I need some advice about the step 3. I have passed step 1 and 3 about 10 years ago.I want to take step 3 now, because all these years I was doing research. Now I want to take step 3. One of my friend told me I can take step 3 for New York or Florida . Is it true? I don't have enough knowledge about state licesure exam. I am so confused, please help me.

If you are doing residency, you can write Step 3 from any state. If not, you can write only from few states like New York.

I think you could do USMLE step three in florida and california up to 10 years from the day you passed your first step (1or2)

In all the other states you could do it within 7 years. call USMLE they will tell you their information is acurate.
