Almost all us senior students matched because the match rate is 93.74%. Most of unmatched students will be sucessful in scramble, etc.
Therefore, 21845 minus 15667 is 6178, which are the position for non-us senior students (total 19308), including canadian students, us physician, osteopath, 5th pathway, us foreign graduate, and non-us foreign graduates.
Therefore the successful rate for non-us senior students to join a resident program is 6178 divided by 19308: around 32%.
