prefference btw Epi or Atropine in Unstable Pts w/ Sympt Bradyca

if patient unstable-- Atropine
with low BP--- give Dopamine but do speed up the HR . so give atropine too

Do an EKG, that is the first step in finding out the etiology of bradycardia.
If Normal sinus rhythm, look for cause, in the mean while, load with fluids, and pressors if required.
If it reveals a block, then, for first degree and type 1 second degree, give atropine.
For more advanced levels of block, ask for transvenous pacing, and in the mean time do transcutaneous pacing.
And not to mention that look for the underlying cause.
