The DNA from Premed Syndrome virus is 44% GC pairs, while the DNA from medical students is only 36% GC pairs. Since higher a % GC will raise the melting temperature , the medical student DNA will melt at lower temperature than the B. In all DNA the adenine and thymine content is equal due to complimentary base pairing. C. The melting curves will be different because the % GC is different. D. In all DNA the cytosine and guanine content is equal due to complimentary base pairing. E. Molecular weight is not a function of base composition.
