i have a question.... can anybody tell me exactly to start/join recidency in 2009, By what time(month) should i complete my step1 and step2 in 2008.

The application process for 2009 residency will start in september 2008. You should have all your results before september 2008 to play safe..

ok.... i had one more question.. on an average how mwny months of preparation is needed for step 2 both ck and cs.

Cs maximally 1 month(3 weeks would be fine as well) and 5 month for CK

SO..... BEFORE 2008 I SHOULD FINISTH ALL THE STEPS 1, 2CK,2CS,AND 3.......??

you'd better have all the results, or at least certificate, you can report step 3 result afterwards. Most programs need you to be certified while applying.
