can anyone tell me how to give Step 3 without the ECFMGcertification. My certificate will come in about 2 weeks , thank to the credentials problem

I don't think you can take step 3 without being ECFMG certified (so long as you are an IMG) but for sure you can take it before your residency (12 states allow you to do so .CT.is one of them)
But do you need more books to study for step 3? or just Q banks (like Kaplan and cruch the board?
