i did good on step 2/1 but for step 3 had no time as a resident. do u think the result affects fellowship status?

NO....scores do not matter for getting into a fellowship....
but there are some programs that want you to have passed step 3... at least...
so when you are applying check with the programs if they have this requirement....
most do not care...plz check before...to save yourself the botheration of doing the paper-work...

YES. It definitely does if you are applying for competitive fellowships like GI, Cardio, Heam Onc. It doesn't matter if you have not taken the step3 but if you have then you should have a good score to show up on ur transcript. Remember.. they just need a reason to EXCLUDE your application. So you should try n get a score atleast above 85... the more the better.
