I got LSU-NO...IM...is there anyone going there???
I didn't get my contract yet! and I am also concerned about the housing too...I searched for the few apt and they turned out very expensive..... I am single and its not worth to pay 1000$ a month for 1bhk....what do you guys have to say???

If you're IM, the secretary will send you the contract with a whole load of other documents for you to fill out. Don't worry, all the paper work will come.

The program will also send you some info about places to live...I didn't find that very useful..

I had a very difficult time finding an apartment...that was until someone (google) showed me the following websites!
1. http://www.apartmentsbytonti.com/properties.html
2. http://www.1stlake.com

Most of these apartments are located in Metairie or Riverridge. It doesn't take that long to commute, especially on an intern's schedule. 0600 am, there isn't that much traffic...

Many of the resident's choose to live downtown. It's hip-hop fashionable and fun. Not sure how to look for apartments downtown...

Yeas, I got IM at LSU and doing a never ending paper work to get LSBME license and J1 visa sponsership....
