Is program paying for it?
Also would like to know if we have to pay for the state license or program will pay for it?? I havent got anything from program yet so was just wondering???

yes all the programs that i interviewed at were going to bear the expense for the ACLS/BLS training.
state license might be open to quirks of individual programs.

Well some progs will provide you with the training... and some will pay... but won't pay the whole cost though... like ACLS will cost some 400$ and prog will pay you below 100

ACLS doesnt cost 400.
It costs 150 , the hospitals cover this training for you thru residency.

well i just paid that amount a week ago.. and my prog says that they will pay only 85$

Well, you might have paid $400, but these programs are very widely available at $150 and sometimes you can even find such courses at places like Atlantic city and then they even combine it with some fun time for the family while you attend the course. Even then the programs don't cost $400.

its not 400 exact... the course is 300 and the book is extra...
and as you said it varies.. i will try and look for one in my area although i couldn't find one while i was looking for it earlier... can you give me any random example.. or a link to any website? |
