Kaplan Live Lectures - lisam

Hello,
I wanted to know if anyone has ever taken/attended the Kaplan Live lecture courses for either step1 or step2?
Are the good.. and worth spending $3400?
also what is the difference between live lecture courses and the DVDS in terms of prep for exams?
plz anyone help me.

I recommend only step 1 live lectures.

I took the STEP I live lectures in Chicago. They were pretty good. For the STEP II, I studied in the Kaplan Center for 3 months and I passed without problems.
