when i was reading about adenomyosis and endometriosis, it is said that the glands or functional glands thicken myometriol tissue or loacted outside uterus......

my q is: what are the glands out there?

is that endometriotic layer lining uterus, which responds to estrogen and progestrin?

yes.. endometrial glands/tissue outside uterus is endometriosis
adenomyosis is presence of endometrial glands in uterine MYOMETRIUM
