IDIOTYPE is the portion of variable region of immunoglobulins or T-cell receptors, that determines which type of antigen will bind to them ( on broader terms )
note- multiple idiotOPES join to form a particular idiotype. PARATOPE is a region within the idiotype (usually the extreme end of variable region- N-terminus) thats binds epitope (i.e. the site where actual bonds are made between antigen and the antibody) EPITOPE is a specific region on the antigen that fits into the paratope of the idiotype.

@technodoctor thanks
If both "IdioTOPES" and the "Paratopes" bind to Antigen(Epitope) , then what's the difference b/w these two ?????? or are u saying that the "IdioTOPES" do not bind to the Antigen (Epitope) ??

Haptens are very small and they cannot stimulate immune response unless they attache to bigger molecules, but Epitopes are bigger and they have the ability of immune response stimulation individually.
