No PD will compromise quality for politics because that would ultimately destroy his program.
Any AMG or US citizen with similiar credentials will definitely get preference over an IMG. There is a shortage of available doctors here which is being remedied by the increasing number of medical schools in America, but that will take a while. Perhaps in the next 5-10 years the doors will close for the FMG then the US citizen IMG would have to compete with an increased number of AMG'S guaranteed to get positions.....now thats something to whine about.
If you did not do your training here in the US, you are an IMG, the sooner you get over it the better.

Yes! Citizen and green card holders should have the first right. If the people here are jobless then who should the american comapnies give the job to? There is a limit to everthing. First residencies to Citizen and GCs. It makes sense and is in ther interest of USA.

We pay taxes for this country.We work very hard to contribute .
Donot you think we deserve first ,as in all other speciality is.
we are not against foriegners ,but untill last citizen get the residency position .
so in next matches we like to see citizen applied..All matched.

what a lame excuse is to blame competitive IMG's for some of your failures as applicants to a residency position. do you think that by just having gc you are better than anyone else . what is your fear for competition , don't you think anyway you are better ? . then proof it : get the position you want by your hard work and strong application and not by blaming others that as you at some point have the dream to come to this country and get the best training in the world .

Well,its not Olympics or WWW where you best to win and get medal .
Think in realistic way.We need to place our citizen to get employed.Its the training program who make them best doctor,To join residency ECFMG certificate is enough.
In the past what doctors we are seeing now are not expectional ,but doing wonderful jobs.
By the way,there are many programs who donot accept any VISAs and uf by mistake any 99er send their application ,they even donot consider ,,and only consider Citizens and GCs.
Goverment jobs are only for citizen,why is that???
In engennering to find a job ,you have to give an add first,if some citizen apply for that job ,you cannot get unless no citizen apply for that,why is that??
Why many docotors like Us working with small jobs,some are raising kids ,some are earning extra degree and same timming taking exams ,and contributing every thing to raise this country up.
If you answer for these simple questions/you will understand we are raising our voices

Founders of this country founded this country for the citizen of this country. So please do not tell me the place where your are from, you would be willing to give your opportunity to some outsider even with you being without a job. So this country was founded first and formost for the citizenry prsent here. After the citizens, if anything is left over should go to ohers.

ban overseas hollywood stars, they earn 100 times more than doctors
ban the pop artist they earn 100 times more than doctors,
ban foreigm imports german cars, japanese cars, chinese goods,
ban all the foreign technology, german, swedish, french
death to airbus, motorola, nokia, lenovo, sony, samsung
lets ban american exports, distribute them free to its citizens..
