I am guessing that all who are encouraging this citizen/GC idea are born in the US ; I do not want to think that all foreing born us citizens think this way . Instead of loosing time with this crazy unrealistic proposals why dont you focus on studying and making your application stronger so that at least a few programs call you for an IV. Dont you find it shameful to rely solely on your visa/gc/citizen status to obtain a residency position. If you think you deserve it instead of earning it as is supposed to , I am sorry for the patients and families that will come to your hands .

It is not hypocrisy. I think you misunderstood. I am saying very clearly that you will not let a non-citizen to take your opportunity away from you. I mean you, yes you, in your own country so stop being a hypocrite. The first taks of the government is th portect its own citizens i.e. militarily and econonically.

when you work full time, doing volunteer almost full time, doing unpaid research, studying for your exams and paying taxes, bills and support your family...you have the full right to anything trust me on that.

i can not accept the idea of being an MD and want to be trained in a residency program that pay people from my tax dollars and i can not get in to one.....can not imagine myself as a US citizen with an MD and work on walmart making $10 per hour minus taxes which pays for someone else taken my job....i can not understand the concept behind you have to be 99,99 to be equal to us NO i do not accept that simply because the whole idea of doing residency is training me to become a doctor so i guess if i just have an MD an ECFMG certificate that qualify me to start training that is the whole concept of doing a residency otherwise hospital should hire people with 99,99 and worked already on their home country.

I already contacted my state Senates and 2 of my congressman and trust my i will fight till the end....i just had a new born baby and i will do anything to protect my future and the future of my baby and that should not upset any one.

We pay taxes to give opportunity to non-citizens to take away our own opportunity and future. It has to stop. Americans first.
