+Trazodone: very sedating but no anti-cholinergic SE.
+Imipramine (TCA): sedating and anti-cholinergic SE.
the least sedating and anticholinergic among TCA drugs are: Desipramine; Nortriptyline (Best TCAs for elderly pts).
+MAOI: sedating(very common)++ but no anti-cholinergic SE.
+SSRI: *Fluoxetine(PROZAC) ==>impaired metab. in elderly pts
*Sertraline, citalopram and Escitalopram ==>least likely to interfere w hepatic drud metabolism.
