The phone interview is as important as an in-person one. Our sincere advise, do not jump and agree to a time and schedule the interview immediately. Tell them you need to look at your schedule and you will getback to them.
And then, you have to really prepare well for the phone interview. The phone interview is mainly depended on questions, which is the only way the PDs can assess you. Therefore, the phone interview is more challenging than the in-person one. If you are interested in that program, then you will have to work really hard to pass the message across.
