than specific glands enlarged tremors cold preference,anxiety,racing heart,menstrual abn,etc, dieting , execessive exercise .
depression (faceslips)
pmh (dm,thyroid ,bp)
amhugs foss,complete menstrual and sexual hist (HIV)occupation, stress
examination
eye pallor and jaundice
neck swellings
heart and lung aus
abdo palpation
minimental status

closure

endocrine, hyperthyroidism, DM, Addison disease,

malignancy,

infection, tuberculosis, HIV,

malabsorption, chronic pancreatitis, celiac dx,etc

emotional , depression, anorexia nervosa

wt loss in young differs from old pt.in young we mostly think hyperthy. or wt obsession and excessive exercise or depression or HIV.in old pt we also should consider malignancy and even elderly abuse.
Onset,Progression,Intentional,appetite,how many lbs,physical activity,mense if indicated,fatigue,palpitaion,sweating,tremor,bowel habits,urinary habits,any emotional change recently,
**the pt guides you with first descriptions,so ask relevant questions regarding that special Dx
i mean when the pt mood/appetite is ok don"t ask about depression more.
