.. i'm a finalist n graduating ensha Allah next october 2010..
well it help if i studied some of kaplan notes for my subject at collage like for medicine or pediatrics.. i have kaplan notes for pediatrics 2005.. will it help????.. or should i get the new one..
i also plan for taking step1 once i graduate.. any advices????

May Allah help u graduate, the selection of books depends upon the college that u go to n what ur prof recommend u to study..... for med i had cmdt, harrison's manual, OHCM,
davidson's medicine.....but i wasnt sticking to one book...... i was mixing em up pretty much..... but it depends on ur comfort level....some are even happy with one book......
but i remember reading BRS pediatrics.....it was decent.....

i'm readign davidson's 2.. plus OHCM..
n ten teachers for obs n gyn..
about my concerns for the steps exam .. can i do it in time.. meaning studing for both graduating n steps in next octobor enshaAllah,, i have a good chance in working in golf country immediatly after grad.. but it depends on my results n the exam it self,, should i take the chance?????

salam rowida...... well, i wdnt advise u to take any chances with this exam if u r not confident..... take ur time unless u r in a real hurry....... once done u shd move to step1 preparation, or if u want, u can take step2 first.......depends on wt u feel comfortable with.....
i took step1 after my graduation n now studying for step2...... so depends on wt u want......
dont rush, study well n take it when u know that u can do well....... goodluck studying n may Allah bless u....... i think davidson's med is really good..... so is ohcm.....i didnt like ten teachers really....... so had a book by one of our college professors....... but again read wt u r comfortable with..... i know some ppl who liked 10 teachers..... so everybody has a different opinion
