hi everybody, m an fmg from INDIA doing internship(final year in my college). i got my score- 96 in step1. first of all i thank GOD for this. but i worked a lot hard to get 99 even got 99 in nbme...thatsy i decided to sit in exam on scheduled date. i have heard a lot from people that competetion is so much that if u dont get 99, its really difficult for u to get into a good residency program in internal medicine. currently m doing 2 month elective at mount sinai school of medicine new york and will give my cs exam in jan. i will really appreciate if somebody can guide me on this as m really worried about my career.

hi congrats on your great score,you stand an excellent chance...can you pls guide me how you secured clerkship in mount siani...i gave my step 1 recently not got results uptil now... i am trying my levelbest to secure a clerkship for the past few months but have not met with much success....i would be very greatful if you could help me regarding the same...pls do reply...thanks in advance
