IN pre employment case yes
Otherwise all special BP like orthostatic and B/L mention to patient and then write in work up

but then the whole 3-4 min for physical will go in tht...then how to do other things????

Really??? 3-4 min for BP
It takes hardly a total of 2 min On pre emp you are mainly just doing do you have any complaints, if no a ROS, all systems briefly and CN If there is some complaint like chronic cough just do brief Hx and order some test like CXR and advice patient about follow up If smoker counsle smoking even the normal counsel is very brief in pre emp exams, they are easier than other cases

hi drstethoscope, why do we need to take the bp in pre employment case if it is given to us,same to other cases?
I have a case of pre employment check up in FA and they provide the vital signs similar to the other cases

It is a good idea to even though for PT note you shoudl use whats on door
If not at least mention to patient you will do it after everything is done even though if you dont |
