If someone could please explain monozygotic vs dizygotic twins I'd appreciate it...as far as splitting at blastocyst stage etc

According to Dr. Dudek (High Yield Embryology) in the chapter of GI system Ileal (Meckel's) diverticulum is the condition associated with drainage of meconium from the umbilicus. If you review the literature you will be able to all of the choices you give. Gastrochissis may have meconium associated with it but it doesn't drain from the umbilicus it drains next to it, also if that happens then the defect (gastroschisis) will be associated with bowel damage.

think like this: the sooner they split, the less they have in common. dizygotic twins have 2 of each (2 placentas, 2 sacs).
mono if split early - could be like di. etc.

mono split at blastocyst stage so one embryo is split into two therefore they have everything in common.dizygotic are two ovums fertilized by two spermstherefore they are entirely different.Hope u understand.

the answer is b. Omphalocele as heidi pointed out. just remember that presistence of the vitelline duct (omphalomesenteric) causes meckels diverticulum.

Pearl Feces coming out of Umbilicus = vitelline duct/meckel
urine coming out of umbilicus = urachus
