I was wondering the same thing.. didn't find a place to update on ERAS ... got my result on the 2nd of feb.
so instead i emailed the programs... i had iv'ed with to tell them that I had received my passing cs results

You can't mark you are certified, b/c we dont have the date of issue....

you MUST wait untill you have your certificate in your hands and then mark as "certified". Your certified status will be released to programs you applyed BY ERAS, NOT by you making a change in your profile.
Make the chage once you have the certificate-
I called ERAS and asked this Q today

should we update eras w/out the certificate, first i wouldve said no we shouldn't but
if u go to oasis and click on
Medical Education Credentials and Standard ECFMG Certificate

Standard ECFMG Certificate Issue Date: 03 Feb 2011
Certificate Sent Date: 03 Feb 2011
Address to Which Certificate was Sent:
Sent By: Federal Express

does that mean we can update eras and click on ecfmg certified and enter the certificate issue date?
