My program has asked to get these 2 certificates long time back.
Presently I am in India and the Indian version of this course is not valid in the U.S What options do I have now? Will I have to do it in US few days before my residency?

Usually programs offer these for incoming interns. Check with your hospital or else your start date gets delayed.

Mostly, if you enter in J1, you can enter 30 days prior or 10 days prior for a H1. The courses are two days straight with an exam at the end of each day. You still can do ti if you plan accordingly.

There might be a way to complete part of the course online, and then do the skill stations at a teaching site. So that can be an option to...might save a day.
