Kallikreins are peptidases (enzymes that cleave peptide bonds in proteins).
Kallikreins liberate kinins (BK and KD) from the kininogens.
Kallikreins also generate plasmin from plasminogen:

95% Confidence intervals are +/- 2 x the standard deviation of the mean (SOM). If the standard deviation is x then the standard deviation of the mean is x/√(N) where N is the sample size. The larger the sample size, then the larger the denominator which results in a smaller SOM resulting in a smaller confidence interval. Hope that helps.

Narcolepsy... is a chronic sleep disorder, or dyssomnia, characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) in which a person experiences extreme fatigue and possibly falls asleep at inappropriate times, such as while at work or at school.

When a narcoleptic falls asleep they generally experience the REM stage of sleep within 10 minutes; whereas most people do not experience REM sleep until after 90 minutes.

Another problem that some narcoleptics experience is cataplexy, a sudden muscular weakness brought on by strong emotions..

The pointed arrow shows Superior Colliculi....it is a conjugate vertical gaze center.

The optic tectum or simply tectum is a paired structure that forms a major component of the vertebrate midbrain.this structure is more commonly called the superior colliculus.

The two superior colliculi sit below the thalamus and surround the pineal gland in the mesencephalon of vertebrate brains. It comprises the caudal aspect of the midbrain, posterior to the periaqueductal gray and immediately superior to the inferior colliculus.
