MTB 2 or 3 ?for CK - dsm4dr

Hi guys ,Is it fine to read mtb3 directly without touching mtb2 after finishing kaplan material..? bcz some say that we must also read mtb3 also for CK. Are there any such topics that were covered in mtb2 but not in mtb3? Thanks in advance.
