I saw an article which said that the residency positions in the US are going to be reduced from next year.
Is it true?

IN FACT I SAW SOME THING IN WHICH THEY WILL TRY TO INCREASE THE IMGS AND RESIDENCY POSITION AS THERE ARE FEW DOCTORS AND LESS HELP IN RURAL AREAS.
ALSO RURAL AREAS CAN BE DOWNTOWN AND NOT REALLY RURAL BY ITS LITERALL MEANING.

AMA also released articles a few months ago that their previous study of prediction that there will be too many doctors is wrong.
Now, they are suggesting to increase the medical school students in US in order to solve the problem...
and expect IMG spots will increase too.
