so im entering but not really expecting much this year. just graduated 4 months ago. have a 216 on the step 1 which is a 91, cs first attempt, 2 months clerkship at good universities and 2 home lors. am applying to a 100 places, mostly comm with uni affiliations, hoping for even 1 interview. If get more then would be grateful. though really this is prob going to end up becoming a dry run for next year. giving ck by end oct...
any suggestions on how to maximize on this?

I am applying for IM I have strong LOR from chairman of surgery + 2 other LOR from private clinics rotation ,
do u think LOR in surgery will help me?
credentials:269/273/cs 1st pass , need visa ,3 months USCE.

246/246/cs pass/218(92) all first attempt, 3months obsie,yog-2009, 2 oral present, no publications ...4 US lors...this is believable i guess

@harverd 1..if the lor mentions more about your personality rather than ur skills in surgery i think it shud work
