NBME 7 - Renal - caffeineload

A 72-year-old man has decreased urine output 2 day after admission to the hospital for tx of cholecystitis. His urine output has been 15 mL/h over the past 3 hours. On admission, results of lab studies were consistent w/ Gram Negative bacteremia and DIC. He's currently receiving IV fluids, Cefoxitin and Gentamicin. His temp is 38.5 C, pulses 110/min, RR 24/min, BP 90/64 mmHg. Abdominal exam shows mild right upper quadrant tenderness. His serum Cr [] has increased from 1.5 mg/dL 2 days ago to 3 mg/dL. This is prerenal AKI and I found in First Aid 2CK that in this type AKI in urine sediment we have hyaline casts so it should be answer A ???
