q-in a small city with stable population,the carrier frequency for CF is 1/30 in caucasian, in nearby community the CF carrier frequency is 1/100.what is the probability that a child born to a mother from the caucasian community and father from asian community will suffer from disease.

For mother carrier state = 1/30....,for child to have disease allele from mother = 1/2
for father carrier state = 1/100 ....for child to have disease allele from father = 1/2
For the child will suffer from disease = 1/30into1/2into/1/100into1/2 = 1/12000

CF = autosomal recessive = 25% chance of disease and 50% carrier ... carrier does not state disease state.
mother = carrier = 50% chance of transfering disease of 1/30
father = carrier = 50% chance of transfering disease of 1/100
so child with disease being a carrier = 1/3000
child having the disease = 1/4 since its autosomal recessive
so carrier 1/3000 x 1/4 disease = 1/12000

@zen786 u could u please explain why its 1/4, do u mean how 2/4 are carrier, 1/4 is homozygous, and 1/4 is diseased? is that were u got the 1/4??
