Hi Kindmd
You give her anti Rho Gam which is Anti-D Ab. This is clear any of the baby's antigen whcich may have entered her circulation during delivery. The thing is you dont want to induce memory because if you do that then if she has a second baby thats positive her body will recognize the antigen and react. So by giving passive immunization and clearing the antigen you prevent an actual immune response. Hope this helps!

When u give "Pre made Antibodies", it is called "Passive Immunization" .... as the case here.
