Hi everyone , I got my result today and passed with high performance... I can understand who failed CS . This is very unpredictable and horrible exam... Please follow these rules to pass ICE... 1: when u see the chief complain outdoor info please make 4-5 DDs in ur mind and ask relevant questions to rule out these 4-5 DDs then most probably u will get 2-3 DDs very close(please ask all relevant questions to rule out all 5 DDs) this is called data gathering then do only 1 or 2 physicals ... For PT. Note : practice typing as much as possible... How to write pt note? First write chief complain with relevant POSItive findings then written all other positive findings of all other systems if positive... Then write all NEGAtive findings like ( after written all positive findings she/he denies this , this, this etc all negative findings with coma) . Then ROS: always write these things here no fever, wt change and any bowel and bladder change.. Then write so on .... Please remember HPi score as40% then DDs 40% PE 10% and diagonostics test10% please always write PE in last in any case we don't have time so its ok. Hope this helps, any question Most welcome

how about writing 'negative except as above' in ROS and including every negative
findings in HPI?

congratulations on your pass and thank you for sharing your method.Just one question ,when supporting our dd,can we copy and past whole paragraph of neg or positive if we found it it supports our dd? for example in your pt above to rule out disc herniation ,can we put like DENIES LEG WEAKNESS/NUMBNESS/TINGLING/URINARY INCONTINENCE/FECAL INCONTINENCE/FEVER/NIGHT SWEATS/RECENT TRAUMA/CHANGES IN WT & APPETITE/ANY RELATION WITH CHANGE OF POSITION/ANY PRIOR EPISODE?
