new palpitations - itsthatdo

35 year old presents to office complaining of palpiations. he has no significant past medical history. complete blood count, thyroid profile, and serum chemistries are norma. vital signs are stable, as is a physical examination and an ecg. the most appropriate next test to perform is
a. 24 hour holter
b. echo
c. electron beam ct scan of heart
d. exercise myocardial perfusion scan
e. signal-averaged ecg

halter now. see when they appear. might be benign.

normal ekg means the dude hasnt had an MI or anything (plus no mention in history of risk factors) so no crazy intervention is needed... why waste money on electron beam, perfusion scan, etc.....

signal averaged ECG? never heard of that being an answer.
